How to Use

Frequently Asked Questions
Can others easily remove the watermark?
The watermark is embedded into the PDF content stream. While it is not a cryptographically secure DRM feature, it prevents casual copying or modification by standard PDF readers and provides a clear visual deterrent.
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. The entire process of rendering the text and embedding it into the PDF happens locally on your computer. Your file remains private.
Can I use an image as a watermark?
Currently, this tool supports text-based watermarks. We are planning to add image watermarking in a future update.
Does the watermark affect the PDF text?
No, the text watermark is added as a separate transparent layer on top of your existing PDF content, so all original text remains fully readable and searchable.
How do I make the watermark less intrusive?
You can adjust the 'Opacity' slider in the sidebar. Setting it to 20% or 30% creates a subtle watermark that doesn't distract from the document's content.
